How to show/hide Video Subtitles based on the TV's setting?

I'm trying to find a way to hide/show Video Subtitles on my app based on the TV's accessibility settings for Closed Captioning.

Right now, I have the video showing the subtitles all the time. The subtitle works perfectly fine, but I want to find a way to map it to the TV's setting.

Is there a way to do that? Or is the best practice to have my own settings within the app to control whether to show/hide the subtitles?

Thank you in advance.

I don't see any API function to retrive TV's accessibility settings for Closed Captioning/Subtitle on the Documentations.

I would suggest that, you may post your issue on Samsung TV Forum

http://developer.samsung.com/forum/?topCtgy=06

Developers on the specific domain may share their experiences with you there. In Addition, Samsung TV Seller Office also provides 1:1 Q&A Support if you have published any app there.

Hello I would like to know what api player are you using? Is your app is meant to be an IPTV player?
