The emulator has an output message called "early console in decompress_kernel ".

I want to write a " Welcome to Xamarin Forms!" in the "Samsung-TV-5.5-x86 ".

When I had run the emulator, to confront the error.

emulator "early console in decompress_kernel Decompressing Linux... Decompressing Linux... No relocation needed... done. Booting the kernel. -" are written in the message.

 I don't know, why displayed this message.

please help, tell me the solution. thanks.

Hello Giorgia Nesci.

The emulator does not seem to be turned on properly.

First, you should check if your computer supports the HW virtualization.

Then, emulator configuration for cpu VT and GPU has to be enabled.

Configuration  : Emulator Manager ->  Check the VM -> Edit -> HW Support -> CPU VT &  GPU

Thanks for answering.

I tried everything but, having an AMD CPU (which supports virtualization), I can't install Haxm.
Can I try anything else to make it work on Windows?
Otherwise, is there a good IDE to use on Ubuntu since Visual Studio 2017 is not supported there?
