The review process uncovered issues with our app that only affect TVs manufactured by a 3rd party operating with a Tizen Licence (e.g. model group 24TV_BASIC2_LIC2).
We operate in the USA, where we have not been able to find such TVs from any of the major retailers. One of the issues is that the TVs in 24TV_BASIC2_LIC2 are only described by proprietary model #'s like K1LDCF_CHA, K1LDCF_DIX etc...and we have no idea how this maps to TV retailer vocabulary (I can't walk in into a best buy store and ask for "K1LDCF_CHA", retailers only understand brand/model)
- Has any one been able to purchase a non-Samsung Tizen TV from a US retailer? If so which brand/model did you buy? A link and the retailer's info would be great if you can share?
- Absent this, are there any ways to test ? (I was hoping the simulator might be helpful, but have not found any way to configure the simulator to behave exactly like the licensed TVs)
