Can't install Device Manager for Tizen Studio 2.2

The package doesn't show in my Package Manager. There is another forum post about this issue but there is no resolution. I feel it might have to do with Tizen Studio 2.2 because I have installed 2.0 on another computer a few months back and it had Device Manager. Now, when I go to the Package Manager, I see it under deprecated. This Deprecated section isn't there when trying to install Tizen Studio 2.2. I am trying to install on Ubuntu 16.04 64 bit.

Is there any way to install an older version of Tizen Studio? I want to install 2.0 because I know it has Device Manager.

Found It: http://download.tizen.org/sdk/Installer/tizen-studio_2.0/

Hopefully should work, will update on findings in a little bit.

Nope, the Device Manager doesn't show when installing 2.0 either. Looks like they just removed it from the repository and haven't given an explanation on how to connect to devices otherwise... Tizen is so frustrating to work with.

So it turns out, I had the wrong JDK installed. Instead of open JDK, I should have installed Oracle JDK 8. Here are the instructions https://medium.com/coderscorner/installing-oracle-java-8-in-ubuntu-16-10-845507b13343

After this, I was able to open Device Manager.
