Samsung NX1 Camera

Hi,

 

New to Tizen, can someone summarize for me what are the capabilities of the NX1 regarding Tizen. Is there an SDK and what types of functionality of the camera is exposed? Can anyone point me the documentation or other good sites to learn about it?

Hi Marc,

there is no SDK for Tizen cameras atm

Hello,

Currently Tizen support only mobile, wearable, IVI and TV profiles.

As i known, there is no any SDK for NX1 camera.

Samsung this week released updated firmware for the NX1 (1.3). In the release notes, they indicated that they would release an SDK for the camera the first week of June. Very exciting news for this flagship camera!

Does anyone know where we might be able to get a preview copy of documentation for this upcoming SDK? Where would this be coming from and does anyone know if there is a contact site/email to request a draft doc?

Hi Marc,

have you found the SDK for Samsung Remote Studio?
My understanding is that it is only for windows, are two files (SDK +  94 pages on a PDF file).

It would be great to try to add some features like focus stacking to this application. I have tried to find information on how to pair the NX1 with a Gear S3 to improve the geotagging process, but have got zero support from Samsung. Just like this awesome camera and us, the investers on the NX line.
