Unable to upload Gear App Update on Gear App Store

Hi,

 

I have developed an updated version of our Gear App and wanted to upload it on Gear App store.

But, I am getting the following error.

 

The signing key is not valid. Signing Key of all registered binaries must be the same, and the same Signing Key used for binaries in the previous version must be used.

 

Please let me know the reason for error.

It seems u doesnt use the same AUTHOR SIGNATURE CERTIFICATE like on the previous binaries ;)

So I had to change my cert because my Samsung Gear S3 wouldn't connect to my IDE for debugging anymore.

I can now NEVER AGAIN upload a newer update of my app? This is serious bullshit.

The best practise is to use "release" certificate to sign apps sending to the store and "debug "certs (generated for your devices) for local test.

In your case just sign app using old cert and upload/update old version.
